Important Surgery Changes.
Opening Hours
From Monday 19th March 2012 the surgery will no longer open at 8.00am.
New Hours
Monday 8.30am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 7.00pm
Tuesday 8.30am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 7.00pm
Wednesday 8.30am to 1.00pm and 3.00pm to 5.00pm
Thursday 8.30am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 7.00pm
Friday 8.30am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 6.00pm
Appointments
We have received an increasing number of complaints from patients regarding the need to ring at 8.00am in the morning to make an appointment, and the inability to book appointments in advance.
To reflect these complaints the Surgery has decided to trial a new appointments system. The majority of appointments will now be released for booking 7 days in advance and a small number of appointments for booking up to 4 weeks in advance.
On Monday 19th March 2012 morning appointments will be released for the following Monday, but the interim days of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday should also have available appointments. This is then cascaded throughout the week – Tuesday morning releases the following Tuesday’s appointments etc.
This trial appointment system is scheduled to commence to reflect the surgery’s new opening times on Monday 19th March 2012.
Once the new system has been in operation for a couple of months we would value your feedback and a questionnaire will be issued to collect your opinions.
