- The Surgery was originally that of Dr E Idris Williams and Dr Frances M Bennett who moved to these premises in 1969 from the opposite side of Chorley Old Road (where the bank is now situated).
- They were joined by Dr P A Saul in 1972 as Junior Partner and Dr Rodgers as part-time GP in 1977.
- Both Dr Williams and Dr Bennett left the Practice within 12 months of each other and in 1980 Dr Saul became Senior Partner, Dr Rodgers became a full-time partner and they were joined by Dr Ian James in 1980 and also Dr J Priest in 1990.
- Dr Rodgers retired in 1996.
- After a spell as a locum, Dr Sidat joined us in1997 followed by Dr Walsh in 1999.
- Drs Walsh , Dr Parveen and Priest have since left the Practice.
- Dr Majid joined the Practice in February 2007 as a salaried GP but has since become a Partner.
- Dr Kelly, female GP, joined the surgery in February 2010, but retired in October 2011.
